Site
Plans (1/10/08)
Navigation between individual comics is on its way.
I see that I've already gotten
5 (gasp!) unique hits since the comic started. I feel positively fuzzy. This site is my first attempt at posting a regular
web cartoon, and I hope that this comic will help improve my drawing and writing skills. If anyone has any suggestions,
advice, or opinions, drop me a line at loothack@gmail.com My current plans for this site include a trophy room, which will house
all of Daniel’s accomplishments, a character bio page, and a section where I will upload a monthly paper game.
The idea for LootHack
originally spawned from a game idea. I was usually the Game Master in my role-playing group, but one night I just really wanted
to be a player. No one else wanted to be the GM, so in the end I once again assumed the mantle with a grumble on my lips and
an idea in my head. What if there was a pen-and-paper RPG without the need for a GM? I started writing up the first draft
of the LootHack game, and the sketches I made in the borders of my notebook would eventually evolve into the characters of
the comic.
So far I’ve been through four versions of the game,
and I hope to have a full prototype on this site soon after Daniel completes his first expedition. If all goes well, I’ll
publish an adventure module to supplement the comic at the end of each of the comic’s chapter.
