Daniel Svelte A recently graduated English Major, Daniel had been unemployed for over a year before reluctantly
accepting his grandfather's invitation to join Loot Hack. Resentful of a universe
that doesn't appreciate his wit, Daniel seems to possess no skills other than the ability to dress well and comment extensively
on literature most of the populace has never heard of. His parents have finally refused to support his directionless lifestyle
any further. Daniel's 80,000 solari student loans are quickly accumulating compound interest and risking his life on interplanetary
hunting expeditions seems to be his only hope of digging himself out of debt.

Theodore R. Svelte Grandfather
of Daniel Svelte, Theo frequently voices his disappointment in both his son (for quitting Loot Hack) and grandson (for taking
so long to join Loot Hack). He is affiliated with the Huntsman's Lodge, and takes great pride in being one of its first members
after Loot Hack's foundation. Theo's name is legendary, and newly-recruited Huntsmen are often regaled with stories of his
latest conquests around the lodge fireplace. To him, there is no finer aspiration than proving humanity's superiority in
the galaxy by hunting big game aliens. Already descended from a wealthy family, a lifetime of successfully raiding alien
worlds has made him one of the richest members of Loot Hack. He refuses to help Daniel with money from his own pocket, as
he knows his grandson's debt is the only reason the boy stays with the organization.
Loot Hack Loot
Hack was originally founded as an exploration and research league called Intergalactic Envoys, but quickly degenerated into
its current form when its members found out how much more fun aliens are when they're shot and gutted instead of peacefully
observed. The organization is divided into several lodges: Huntsman, Lawyer, Taxidermist, Chef, Salvage, and Attuned. Each
lodge has its own goals, values, and ways to make money from expeditions; actively recruiting new blood from amongst the bored
and wealthy of the solar system. Rivalries between lodges are common and seen as a form of healthy competition. Although
no lodge technically discriminates based on social status, the exorbitant membership and entry fees often prevent lower class
hopefuls from joining unless sponsored by a lodge member in good standing.
