4E Flickr Pictures (4/8/08)

Benimoto, attendee of the 2008 DnD Expo in Washington, DC snapped quite a few previews of the upcoming rulebooks and put them on his Flickr account for our viewing pleasure.  I've got to say, I like what I'm seeing so far, especially in the Monster Manual Getting rid of the (Su), (Sp), (Ex) madness in favor of an all-encompassing ability system?  Brilliant!  A simple baseline XP amount earned determined by the monster instead of calculating the party's Challenge Rating versus the encounter's Challenge Rating via some sort of arcane formula?  Delightful!  Heck, they even give you a sample group of monsters appropriate to the party's level with every entry, including the group's tallied XP!  After reading these entries, I bit the bullet and pre-ordered the 4E set of books from Amazon.
